FOND FAREWELL

Such lovely photos of lovely sweaters on lovely slim and curvy knitters are a joy to behold. Alas, this not so slim, but curvy knitter ran into some rather HUGE problems. For all of the grizzly details, you'll have to read about it here.
I haven't had the heart to photograph the poor misshapen thing. It almost seems cruel. Please feel free to leave condolences, insight, advice, or snickering. Gorilla's are tough.

Hi--THank you, thank you, thank you. I've been lurking on the KAL because I want(ed) to knit this very sweater, but I am also of the 38DD variety and wasn't sure that it was the right thing for me to knit for myself. You've saved me from all the trouble and heartache you've been through. I will continue to admire the sweater from afar!

Sometimes a pattern just doesn't work out, and raglan sweaters in particular can be difficult to pull off. On the other hand, there are so many fabulous patterns out there it's really not worth wasting time and yarn on something that would not fit well and feel fabulous!
